Fahrenheit 451
The Battle Ground Is Everywhere EP

‘We Are Youth’ hits you straight away with a dominant drum beat then suddenly erupts into a wild guitar frenzy. Although this track is full of angst and determination, the harmonious vocal that accompanies the grittiness transforms this track from average to damn good.

The best song on this EP has to be ‘Bass and Bombs’, a track that clearly shows Fahrenheit 451’s tight structure as a band and with an overall clean-cut finish to the sound you can’t help but be blown away. The bass is groovy, the vocal is catchy and the guitars and drums are extreme.

With an overall sound akin to Lost Prophets mixed with Jimmy Eat World’s ‘This Could Be Anywhere’ brings this heavy EP to a dramatic end. After such an intense listen this song is the order of the day, with a calming element and soothing tunes you’re ready to listen again and again.
