I Want You Babe
Fuzzy bass, cute guitar licks and a vocal that isn’t afraid of it’s French heritage, ‘I Want You Babe’ is the Bodyrockers style debut from Rennes rock four-piece The Dude.
‘Marguerite’ is a bit more ‘Franzy’ round the edges and a scrappy female voice added to the mix. A simple but effective guitar solo is a tuneful calm amidst a song with lots of simultaneous threads.
This is danceable rock with sexual rhythms and tons of texture and, if you like the idea of Franz Ferdinand meets the Bodyrockers, this is a band that would definitely interest you.
