Wormburner - Autographed Copies. An old fairground outlined by warm white lights and a moody sky.

Autographed Copies

Either they’ve been stalking me for quite some time, or it’s just pure chance that Wormburner have supplied exactly the kind of indie-quirk power-pop that has a special reservation in the VIP area of my musical heart.

I love the kitsch synth sound in ‘Autographed Copies’, and the wonderfully warm guitars and crisp drum sound perfectly capture the emotion of the song, which is further advanced by the clear American accent of the vocal.

‘Autographed Copies’ is taken from Wormburner’s debut album, A Hero’s Welcome, which is out now. I think I might even get a copy myself.
