Rebbecca
What you Will Get

Does anyone remember Mansun? They came about in the chunk of the nineties that was dominated by incredible, intricate studio work and bands such as Skunk Anansie and Mansun themselves totally owned the laser-cut precision rock genre.

The reason I mention this is down to the fact that Rebbecca have that diamond quality to their sound and more than a little of the detailed and grand songwriting skill that makes this kind of song so appealing.

‘What You Will Get’ has a vocal that confidently strides about its range without hamming up the high notes and the two guitars weave about each other to create complex rhythms that build into a foaming crescendo.

It’s a song that fits in well with successful rock bands. It’s got enough pop appeal to warrant a serious single-release and there’s enough reality and depth to make it a proposition for people with a more alternate taste.
