The Pocket Gods - Night Lights

The Pocket Gods
Night Lights

‘Night Lights’ has, as you might expect, a twinkly, relaxing, starry evening mood. The mix of vocals blends well together giving this song a mellow, yet upbeat effect. Throughout, the electric guitar remains tamed and controlled leaving room for the sparking melody.

With more bass and grit ‘9th Configuration’ has a moody guitar riff but still contains the basic format as ‘Night Lights’. Although the vocals are still shared, Mark Lee’s vocal stands out, making things sound more like Oasis.

The Pocket Gods are heading in the right direction, and with more songs like ‘9th Configuration’, they’re sure to be a popular listen.
