Dance Lazarus Dance
We Put the Fun in Fundamentalist

One for fans of The Automatic, Dance Lazarus Dance have the unadorned voice meets tongue-in-cheek screams that has done The Automatic proud for a good five minutes.

It is well put together, with the keyboards approaching Guided By Voices territory at times, and the chorus would be worthy of a Fall Out Boy album track, but ‘We Put the Fun…’ just isn’t recognisable as a distinct song.

DLD are the ‘young cousins’ of some good bands, but they don’t have that crazy little thing called ‘edge’ going by this release.
