The Dirty Lips
The Dirty Lips EP

Good vocals. Check. Brilliant guitars. Check. The ability to get you dancing round your living room like a loon (…maybe that’s just me.). Check. Seems like The Dirty Lips have got everything they need to perfect their upbeat tunes, and listening on it’s near impossible not to like them more and more.

Style wise, these guys enjoy soft rock and a slight weakness for pop, with a pinch of indie thrown in. There’s nothing overly special or original about the lyrics, but the youthful vocals certainly work well with the danceable music.

The musicians really shine through in ‘Travis Bickle’ and ‘Last Chance Saloon’. After just a couple of songs, boasting some genius guitar work; you’d happily welcome them into your record collection.

The Dirty Lip’s upbeat and cheery tunes are a breath of fresh air, which makes it hard to find anything not to like about these guys.
