The Culprit
Blackball
Between ‘Blackball’ and ‘Requiem’ The Culprit have it all. Moments of intense heaviness coupled with pure harmonies and a plethora of great rhythms is praise enough in itself – but there’ so much more!
In fact, these two tracks are practically faultless rock-metal rampages and with such fruitful talent, these chaps ought to be a well known name. These guys manage to capture the best bits of nineties metal and add tons of melody to trap your ears.
‘Kill or Cure’ isn’t really in the same ball park, sounding a bit like POD playing a Duran Duran track, but the chorus makes up somewhat for the suspicious verse.
Asides from that track, this is an awesome single.
