Thru It All - Elevator

Thru It All
Elevator

Thru It All return with a sparky new single, ‘Elevator’. This song combines the pop-punk, rap, and screamo sides of the band in one neat offering… their 9th single this year.

Beneath the main guitar motif, stabbed pedalling is the signature of the intro and first verse. This lands well and keeping things hovering around one chord gives space to the melody and results in the chorus sounding thick and creamy. The second verse is delivered in rap form, taking us through to another big chorus.

The middle eight features the guitar motif with a big scream and it leads to a variation on the chorus theme, with the first line delivered minimally to let the rest punch through a second or two later.

Thru It All keep supplying quality songs. They bring a lot of diverse influence into a single track here and it works perfectly.
