Since Pink Elephant, it’s fair to say Stand Atlantic have explored heavier territory and ‘Warzone’ certainly has a huge slamming drum beat and fuzzed-up guitar riffs.

Like many bands these days, Stand Atlantic have had online haters… shame on you all… and this song is a response to that. The chaotic chorus line of ‘say it to my face’ calls out what we all kinda know, the keyboard warriors lose their bravado once they leave their bedroom.

Musically, it’s a pretty heavy-sounding song, nudging towards a nu-metal sound, though keeping some of the chops we’re familiar with.

I have been advised many times I shouldn’t respond to hate comments online, so I just wrote a song about it instead.

I probably gotta work on this, but I think anyone who has experienced negative feedback that isn’t constructive or conducive for a respectful discussion, can understand the unrelenting strength it takes to not absolutely rinse someone who has put their hate online and directed it at you.

This song is just a fantasy for myself and anyone else who wonders what the hell those people would actually do in real life if they would ever say it to your face. Which they wouldn’t because they’re cowards.

Warzone Lyrics

If u a bad bitch, show me what ur made of
wash ur mouth out, makin’ daddy proud now
If u a bad bitch, show me what ur made of
show me what ur made of, makin’ daddy proud now

I think ur high risk, wanna entertain it
leave ur back bite dyin’ in the basement
I think ur high risk, wanna entertain it
wanna entertain it, dyin’ in the basement

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
Bitch, I’m like a cyclone enterin’ the warzone

SAY IT TO MY FACE
SAY IT TO MY FACE
SAY IT TO MY FACE
BITCH, I’M LIKE A CYCLONE ENTERIN’ THE WARZONE

Step on my feet, lookin’ for a fistfight
come and find me walkin’ dead in daylight
Step on my feet, lookin’ for a fistfight
maybe you should shut your mouth

I think ur high risk, wanna entertain it
leave ur back bite dyin’ in the basement
I think ur high risk, wanna entertain it
wanna entertain it, dyin’ in the basement
