Wynona Bleach - Feels Good

Wynona Bleach
Be Positive

Jump to...

Wynona Bleach are heading towards an album release in May, with three tracks from Animal Style already available. The latest of these is ‘Be Positive’, a big thundering track that fills the room with its rumbling sound.

The intro chugs explode into a opening chorus, which the verse gets a tom-tom beat and creative guitar rakes that open up a little space in the sound. That switch from verse to chorus gives the song two very distinct moments, with Melyssa Shannon’s vocal melodically threading it all together.

This is the kind of song that makes you long for those classic alt disco nights where tracks like this would get blasted from giant sound rigs to a room full of sweaty people dancing like they can’t hear the beat.

Alongside the video, there’s a revenge horror video that may disturb some viewers with it’s b-movie death scenes. The idea is that ‘Be Positive’ is about killing your nostalgia, so the video provides a slice of slasher nostalgia, and literally a whole bunch of killing.

The album, which also includes ‘I Deserve That’, will be available wherever you get your music, such as Bandcamp.

Be Positive Lyrics

Feels Good
Screaming
What i’m thinking
What do you want from me?
What do you want from me?

Brave enough to pretend
Smell of cigarette ends
Before Cruel sleep
‘least I still dream

Of blue smoke in front of the tv
I don’t know what the news means
I’ll pretend
That I’ll know when it

Feels Good
Screaming
What I’m thinking
What do you want from me?
What do you want from me?

Spiral into myself
Luckily can’t help believe
It’ll fix itself
All by itself

Soft focus just a memory
Fantasy, glass is half empty
Misery
Lets me know when it

Feels good
Screaming

Feels Good
Screaming
What Im thinking
What do you want from me?
Aaaaahh!!!!

Feels good
Feels good
