Sub Pop Sunday
Polka Dot Dress Girl

Sub Pop Sunday are a really good band that nods heavily towards a Supergrass / Muse crossbreed.

This ultimately could be their downfall as ‘Polka Dot Dress Girl’ has very much been done before. Luckily for Sub Pop Sunday, they’re such a high-quality band I’ve decided to let them off with a caution on this occasion, but next time they could well be charged.

A bit more originality in the style department is a required element for success and they haven’t proved this point much on this record.
